Summary.... Analog TV, now gone from the airwaves, is quickly disappearing from pay TV systems as well. Overall, pay TV services netted 400,000 additional subscribers in Q2 2009, led by telco IPTV services FiOS and Uverse. DBS providers also saw net gains in the second quarter, while cable MSOs continued to lose subs overall while posting gains in digital subscriber counts.
